Privacy Policy

This policy covers a private, single-user personal assistant app ("the App") built and operated by Matt Trombley / 8 Bits Wiser ("I"). The App is not offered to the public. The only person who signs in to it is its owner, using his own Google accounts.

What the App accesses

When the owner signs in with Google, the App can read and act on his own Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Contacts and Analytics data, within the permissions he approves on the Google consent screen. It accesses this data only to carry out tasks the owner asks for.

How data is used and stored

• Google data is used only to provide the assistant features the owner requests. It is not used for advertising.
• Sign-in tokens are stored on the owner's own computer. Content from Google services is processed on demand and is not published or sold.
• To complete a task, relevant content may be sent to the AI model provider the owner has configured. It is sent only for that task. It is not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
• Google data is not shared with any other third party, except as needed to run the owner's own tools or as required by law.
• No human reads Google data except the owner.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

The owner can revoke the App's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions and can delete stored tokens from his computer.
